After School Qur’an

IAA QIRA’AH/NAZIRAH PROGRAMS

Mission

It is our goal to instill in each of our students a love of Allah (Subhanuhu Wataallaa), his Messenger Muhammad (SAW) and his divine Book of Qur’an rand facilitate an environment that will enable them to learn how to read, recite and memorize the Holy Qur’an in a manner that is most pleasing to Allah Subhanuhu Wataallaa.

We are providing different Qur’an Programs in After School and Sunday School.  Our Qur’an programs consist of Multi levels learning process that will start from recognizing Arabic Alphabets to fluent reading of the Holy Qur’an, and give opportunity and methods of memorizing Kitaab ul Allaah.

After School Qur’anic Studies program are consists of:

  • Multi structured Level – Beginners/ Intermediate, Advance Level and Part Time Hifz
  • Qur’anic Made Easy – Qaaidah Baqdaadiyah Curriculum
  • Qur’aan Memorization Juz ‘Amma (30th Part –Para of the Qur’an) total of 37 including Fatiha
  • Qur’aan Reading – the entire Qur’an or demonstrate ability to read fluently one page of the Qur’an less 2 minutes
  • Learning Adhkaar & Daily Du’aa, Du’aa in Sallah, Du’aa for Special Occasions
  • Part Time Intensive Hifz program that employs 3 Layers of Qur’an memorization Techniques.
    • New Lesson, New review, Old Review and Subu’a (communal Review or One Ayah Review)
  • Understanding of Juz ‘Amma:
    • General Translation of chapter or Surah
    • Selected Key words from each Surah in order to increase their understanding & Arabic vocabulary
    • Qur’anic Word : Roots and their Meaning are selected from each Surah
    • Historic Background and Lessons learned from Each Surah

Admission

Qira’ah/Nazirah

  • Children should be 6 years old by August 1

Part Time Hifz

  •   To Participate in Part Time Hifz, a child must be at least 10 years old and/or be able to read fluently the Qur’an properly by looking in the Mushaf less 2 minutes

When

Monday – Thursday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Age 5 – 7 or Qira’ah Level: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
