Each course covers one subject in a short, self-contained unit: four weekly sessions, about an hour each, on Thursday evenings. No prior knowledge is assumed, and every unit stands on its own, so you can join wherever fits your life. Miss a session and the recording goes up that same week.

Born and raised in Miami, FL, Imam Abdur Rahman Bashir began his religious education at Jamiatul Uloomil Islamiyah in Karachi, Pakistan. He continued his studies at the Institute of Islamic Education in Dewsbury, England, where he completed his ʿĀlimiyyah, graduating as valedictorian in 2000.
During his time in Dewsbury, he also completed a takhaṣṣuṣ in tajwīd and the ʿasharah qirāʾāt. He later served as religious director of the Jefferson Muslim Association in New Orleans, LA, from 2001 to 2006 and again from 2011 to 2016.
He also serves as an instructor at Taqwa Seminary in Plano, Texas, and as head of academic affairs and a faculty member at Qalam Seminary.
